Yesterday, I enjoyed joining my colleagues on the Council at the Morrisville Winterfest Parade.

Mayor Holcombe, Mayor Elect Mark Stohlman, Liz Johnson, Margaret Broadwell, Steve Diehl and myself rode the Town Float. We are all so grateful for the citizens who came out to cheer on the parade, the volunteers who helped out and to Jerry Allen and the Parks and Rec Department for a job well done!

Councilmembers Elects TJ Cawley and Vicki Scroggins Johnson led the Parade with the Winterfest Banner.

Finally, Miss North Carolina was also in attendance.  Thanks goes out to the dance performers, and the others who marched in the parade.

Happy Holidays to all and I hope to have pictures up on the site soon!   I am looking forward to our Dec.10th organizational meeting.
