On October 15th we had one of the best Virtual Town Halls to date. Special guest Ian Henshaw, CEO of the Open Data Institute North Carolina, demonstrated how smart use
of technology by governments and citizens can improve all our lives.
Discussing the use of open data to fight Ebola this year and referencing a successful example of open data use we all know – the opening of the Global Positioning System to
private developers – Ian showed the way forward for good governance on local and regional levels.
We had participants from India, the United Kingdom, and across North Carolina. Please stay tuned and be sure to join us for the next one.
