I enjoyed a nice conference at the Community Colleges of Applachia Conference.

The CCA represents a consortium of Community Colleges around the Appalachia region.   the core focus of this conference was the importance of workforce training as a way to retool and re educate dispaced workers and the types of innovative programs which Community Colleges are providing to develop depresses communiities in rural America, and how the Community Colleges are working hard to rebuild communities.
