I ended a long day at Shiloh Cricket Fields, to watch the end of the Triangle Cricket League, super championship, wacthing the two conference champtionship teams battle it out for the title.
It was humid, and many folks were in attendance for the game.
At the end of the game, I spoke to the Cricket players, and thanked each of them for their continued passion for the game, and for making Morrisville a hub of cricket in Wake County, North Carolina, and the Southeast and that we were looking forward to the Youth Championships being played this weekend. I also updated them on my work with the League on the Shiloh fields maintenance, the rain outs at Cedar Fork District Park, and other logistical issues.
Many were excited on me seeking a second term on the Council!
Thanks again for a great game! Pictured here with the champions!
