Remembering 2014

My family and I wish each of you a very happy and prosperous 2015!

Today, as we celebrate a wonderful year, I also want to take the time to remember wonderful human beings, who left the world a better place with their service to others and their remarkable spirit.

Let Robin Williams be forever remembered for his humor, the joyous laughter he brought us every day in Television and movies and for his commitment to making the lives of those unfortunate more fortunate,  through his support of St Jude’s Hospital, and the Comic Relief Fund.    We also must be committed to making sure that we do whatever we can to address mental illness and depression, which takes the lives of our own children and citizens around the world every day.

Let us remember Vic Braden, one of the greatest tennis coaches in the history of tennis, one of my former clients, a man who coached Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi in their youth, who brought the joy of tennis to millions around the world, and shared his years of research on brain typing, muscle memory, and other cutting edge sports science research with tennis coaches and players all around the world.

Finally, in North Carolina, let us remember and honor former Commerce Secretary Keith Crisco, a prince of a man, one of the last great dealmakers of our time, whose grace, charm, and drive was an inspiration to all of us who came to know him,  and was always working hard for North Carolina, either as a global businessman, public official, or as our Commerce Secretary.

On a personal note, I also honor my late Uncle, Ramesh Upadaya, who left us this year, and was a remarkable man, a mentor, and a leader in our family.     He was such a pleasure to be around, and I miss him so much and I know he is now with God.

Let us pray for the families of each of these remarkable individuals,  who begin 2015 without their loved ones, and forever, remember their long lasting achievements.

Happy New Year!
