Opening Remarks at Chinese Harvest Moon Festival

I had the honor of providing the opening remarks at the Chinese Harvest Moon Festival, on Saturday, hosted by the Chinese American Friendship Association at the State Fairgrounds.

Over 3000 were in attendance and there were beautiful dance and cultural performances, along with fine Chinese cuisine.

During my remarks, I thanked the Chinese American community for their contributions to North Carolina and the Triangle Region, and also how the increasing diversity of the region provided a great opportunity for economic opportunity between North Carolina and China, along with how the Chinese American community should be more poltically involved, with more candidiates running for local office.

Thanks to CAFA for inviting me and I look forward to continuing to work with this dynamic community.
