On Friday, I enjoyed the Morrisville Chamber Annual meeting and I personally thank Carlotta, Outgoing Chair, Jeff Sheehan,, the Board, and all of the Ambassadors and volunteers, who work so hard to continue to grow Morrisville into one of the most dynamic and innovative Towns in the region.

Carlotta updated all of us on the continued economic development wins, including the success of the Hotties program, which we worked to start together with our Foundation Board.

Congratulations to the award winners and finalists,including  Steve Greene from Alphamarketing, Small Business of the Year, Michael Windley, Ambassador of the Year, and Triangle Rock Club, for Community Steward of the Year.

Finally, we enjoyed a wonderful address from Adrian Cole, our new Economic Development Director, from Wake County, who shared with us the continued economic development growth in Wake County and some of the recent economic development wins in Morrisville, including Teleflex, and a growing pipeline of new potential investment.

Keep up the great work, Chamber, and I look forward to Council to continue to support your efforts and for Anthony Blackmon to serve as the new Chair.
