Today, I attended, along with Mayor Holcombe and Council Members Stohlman, Broadwell, Schlink, and Mayor Pro Tem Johnson, the Ground breaking ceremony for the Learning Center, which is the next major project for the Hindu Center, focusing on education and classes for the youth programs.

My children, Sonia and Rayan participate in these programs, called Gurukul classes, where they learn about Indian mythology.

A special thanks to the Sharma family, the Trustees of HSNC, and to all of the contributors, and sponsors of this project, and of course, lets now focus on Council and staff working with the HSNC to move towards final approval and construction of the project.
